May 21, 2026
Under the initiative of the Kerala State Literacy Mission Authority, registration has commenced for the “Equivalency Course” project being implemented in Noolpuzha Grama Panchayat. This scheme offers an excellent opportunity for those who could not complete their education or had to discontinue their studies to return to learning once again.
Applications are invited for the 4th Standard, 7th Standard, 10th Standard, and Higher Secondary Equivalency Courses conducted under the Literacy Mission. The major objectives of the programme are to ensure educational equality for all sections of society, enhance individuals’ knowledge and self-confidence, and help improve employment opportunities and social advancement.
Those above 18 years of age who have discontinued their studies or wish to improve their educational qualifications can make use of this opportunity. Registration will be conducted from May 5 to May 25, 2026. Applicants submitting applications with fine can apply from May 26 to June 4 and again from June 5 to June 15.
Along with academic learning, equivalency education also contributes to personality development, social awareness, improvement in quality of life, and increased employment opportunities. It is expected that this programme, implemented under the leadership of the Grama Panchayat, will create greater educational awareness among the public and pave the way for social progress.
